APJM organizes hikes all along the week in Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve, after which you can gather for a Traditional homemade lunch (optional) at a local house or even in a nearby traditional restaurant.
Below are some information about a possible Hike in Mchati:

We will be going up the Roman stairs from Mchati to reach the main entrance of the Reserve in Qehmez, where we will walk up the El Bouyout Stroll trail. This trail passes by Bir el Masbek, an old well found in the mountain, the three old houses known as El Bouyout and an old cistern of water used by the people who lived in the old houses.
After visiting the old houses, we will start our way down the Hadrian’s incline trail, stopping to see the inscription of Hadrian, a Roman emperor from 117 A.C known to have been one of the first to engage in Forest Management.
